NATIONALE D’ ELEVAGE 2005
198 entries and a awfully hot weather for a memorable show!!!
We entered 6 dogs under the International Jury composed by 3 whippet specialists: Mr Rudi Brandt (Frontrunners) from Danmark for adult dogs, Mr Georges Kostopoulos (Allsatin) from Greece for adult bitches and Mr Christophe Coppel (Dixmoor) for all juniors and veterans.
It was the very first show for our youngsters: Eva, Vinny and Marshall.
From our 6 dogs all received a ticket for the finals!!! At this show you don’t know anything from the results until the end of the day… So for us that was already very pleasing to know that all were placed!!!
Results came in this order…
Mojo, Int. Lux. Belg. NL Ch. Taraly Stairway To Heaven: 1st Champion Dog!!!
His son, Marshall, Adagio Timshel Taraly: 1st Baby Dog!!!
His cousin, Vegas, Taraly Vintage Heaven: 5th Junior dog…
…While his brother “Vinny”, Taraly Very Close to Heaven:…..1st Junior dog!!!
Their sister, “Eva”, Taraly Vision Of Heaven: 3rd in a strong junior bitch class!!!
As well as their proud mum, “Mia”, Taraly Seventh Heaven: 3rd in a huge open class!!!
But the best was yet to come…
BEST JUNIOR DOG: VINNY!!!
BEST DOG: MOJO!!! This was a hard competition with the very lovely CAC winner coming all the way from Italy, Ch. Sobresalto Jamiroquai as well as with our own Vinny!!!
Best Couple: Mojo and Mia
Best Brace: Mojo and Marshall!!! (Believe me at this point of the day I couldn’t realize… I thought I was in my bed dreaming!!! LOL!)
When we had to go back for BIS we were with our friend Bart and Nadine Savoie’s lovely bitch, Lux Ch. Boxing Helena’s August Dawn, and Mojo as a true gentleman left the way to the bitch!!!
Heartfelt thanks to the judges to have thought so high of my dogs!! Special heartfelt thanks to Rudi Brandt for his support on our boy and his kind words after the show!!! A big thank you to the audience for the ovation for Mojo when he went best dog… Even more than a month after it still bring tears to my eyes….

198 engagés, une chaleur effroyable mais un évenement mémorable pour nous…
Nous avions engagé 6 chiens pour être examinés par un jury international composé de 3 spécialistes/éleveurs de whippets: Mr Rudi Brandt (Frontrunners) du Danemark pour les mâles adultes , Mr Georges Kostopoulos (Allsatin) de Grèce pour les femelles adultes et Mr Christophe Coppel (Dixmoor) pour tous les juniors et les véterans.
Il s’agissait de la toute première exposition pour 3 de nos jeunes: Eva, Vinny et Marshall.
De nos 6 chiens tous reçurent un ticket pour les finales!!! A cette exposition les classements ne sont révélés qu’ à la fin de la journée…
Après une longue attente les résultats furent enfin annoncés…

Mais le meilleur était encore à venir…

MEILLEUR MALE… MOJO!!! Et quelle compétition face au gagnant du CAC, un chien de qualité venu tout droit d’ Italie, Ch. Sobresalto Jamiroquai et face aussi à notre Vinny, neveu de Mojo!!!
Meilleur Couple: le frère et la soeur, Mojo et Mia!!!
Meilleure Paire: père et fils, Mojo et Marshall!!! Croyez le ou non à ce stade de la compétition j’avais du mal à réaliser… je croyais être en plein rêve!!!
Pour la compétition finale nous retrouvions notre ami Bart et la meilleure femelle Lux Ch. Boxing Helena’s August Dawn à Nadine Savoie. Gentleman dans l’âme Mojo céda la place à la lady!!!
Sincères remerciements aux juges pour avoir apprécié mes chiens. Mention spéciale pour Mr Brandt qui a soutenu Mojo jusqu’au bout et pour ses paroles après l’exposition. Un grand merci au public pour l’ovation faite à Mojo lorsqu’il fût désigné meilleur mâle… Plus d’un mois plus tard ce souvenir m’émeut toujours autant…
