CACIB show in Pontoise
Vinny on the table
31 whippets were entered for Specialist judge Mrs Slatyer from Australia from the Calahorra fame. Our “Vinny” Taraly Very Close To Heaven was placed 2nd Exc in Open Class while his brother “Hacker” Taraly Virtual Heaven, shown by Nathalie, obtained 1st Exc in Intermediate class and finally defeated all the older dogs but one to obtain CAC and RCACIB. The CACIB winner being International Champion our Hacker has now his 1st CACIB ticket!!! Hacker has been shown only 5 times so far on which he won 4 times and he was one time 2nd Exc at the Specialty! We are very proud of this boy’s results!

But the day wasn’t over. We had promised Corinne Renaud to help her handling her 3 babies from Spike’s latest litter for their show debut. I personnaly handled the handsome solid blue dog “Bayou” (Owned by Babeth Lesamedi) in a puppy class of 3 where he was placed 1st VP. This win can’t be qualified as a big win but it really thrilled us anyway!!!

Nathalie then showed perfectly Bayou’s brindle sister “Mary” in puppy bitches where Corinne was showing herself her own blue and white parti bitch ” Candy”. 1st place was for Mary. In best puppy competition Mary acted very professionally with Nathalie while Bayou wanted to play with his sister so the judge gave Puppy BOB ticket to the girl saying she would be better for the big ring although she slighlty preffered Bayou… But boy she was right!!!

Mary was the 1st short listed from all the puppies from all breeds and she finally was awarded Best in Show Puppy!!! The judge was Mrs Chwalibog from Poland.
