Great Week end for Mojo’ s Progeny…

Last Saturday in Finland, at the show in Turenki CC and BOB winner was “Taikku”, Whiptails Folies Bergères, bred and owned by Timo and Kirsi Aalto. At the same show “Neo”, Taraly Beloved at Whiptails, owned by Sari Valli and Kirsi Aalto, went 2nd Exc in Open Class.
The same day in Lithuania, Nicephore Lazarus, owned by Milda Lasauskaite, went 1st Exc in Junior class with Junior CAC.
Next day in Rauma (Finland) “Taikku” got RCC and Best Bitch-2. Her half sister “Moja”, Whiptails Sweet Sensation, owned by Annina & Hanna Lampimäki, was Best Bitch-3.
The same day in France at the International show in Saint Brieuc, CAC CACIB and BOS winner was Azzaro Von Hoehenzoller.
All those are sired by Mojo from 5 different combinations : “Taikku” is out of Multi Ch. BIS Ch. Peperone Partyline, “Nicephore” is out of Multi Ch. Osaka Lazarus, “Moja” is out of Multi Ch. Pipsqueak Hunajapupu, “Neo” is out of “Spicy” (Taraly Too Funky) and Azzaro is out of Réglisse du Manoire de la Grenouillère.

Successes in Poland

Congratulations to Noël Lazarus, bred by Wojtek Lazar, owned by Migle Pudiniene, who won twice time Best Puppy of The Breed this week end: at the CACIB show in Opole and then next day at the Club Specialty ! Congratulations to all concerned !
Noël is a son of Mojo out of Multi Ch. Osaka Lazarus.

We introduce to you this charming young girl, owned and bred by John Laeven in The Netherlands (Of The Mine Valley whippets). She is the first result of a line breeding on Mojo, Multi Ch Taraly Stairway to Heaven and litter sister Mia, Taraly Seventh Heaven. In fact her sire is Vinny, Taraly Very Close to Heaven, himself by UK Ch. Cobyco Center Stage out of Mia and the dam is Gallant Lady of the Mine Valley, sired by Mojo.
We wish John and his family good luck for a bright future with this lovely puppy bitch!

What a girl!
Our warmest congratulations to Morgan Slätt (owner), Stefan Raghammar (breeder) and to finally Patsy (officially known as: Dual Ch. Adagio Just Whistle). Last week end this clever girl added the Norvegian Coursing title to her already impressive titles: Swedish Show Champion and Swedish Coursing Champion!
Oh boy you wouldn’t believe how proud this makes all of use here (especially Daddy Mojo and Brother Marshall ).

Litter planned

Our next litter is planned for the fall 2008. It will be a VERY special combination for us, one we have dreamt of for many years!
The dam will be “Mia” - Taraly Seventh Heaven - litter sister of Mojo. This will be Mia’s second (she is the dam of our V litter) and last litter.
The sire will be announced later!

Yesterday was a very special day for us! In fact it was Mojo’s and Mia’s 7th birthday! Can’t believe how time flies! We have so many good memories with them and hopefully many many mores will follow! We love you darlings!
Also happy 7th birthday to their brothers and sisters: Swanilda, Spike (Spike Lee), Vegas (Shakespeare In Love) and Silky!

Judging in Sweden

Last week end I had the great honour to be invited by the Swedish Whippet Club to judge the unofficial Specialty in Gnesta. I was really thrilled to hear about the numbers of entries: 101 whippets (not dalmatians! lol)!!! I had a great time there and saw some beautiful whippets.

I was happily surprised to learn that both BIS and Puppy BIS were sired by the BOS winner!

Relatives…

We are very glad to report our “relatives” (sired by our dogs) successes, both in the showrings and coursing fields!
“Patsy” - Ch. Adagio Just Whistle - owned by Morgan Slätt - became Swedish Champion so now she is Dual Ch. Adagio Just Whistle, being Swedish Champion and Swedish Coursing Champion!! “Patsy” is also one of the very few Swedish bitches selected for the FCI European Coursing Championships which will be held next July in Sweden. Congratulations to Patsy’s owner and breeder! What more could any breeder dream of than that: breeding brains and beauties! Patsy is by Mojo out of Multi Ch Adagio True Love, litter sister of our Marshall.
In Finland the young “Sulo” - Whiptails Sweet as Sugar - won his second CC and became best dog. Sulo is sired by Mojo out of Ch. Pipsqueak Hunajapupu, Congratulations to Timo and Kirsi Aalto for breeding and showing him and to Sulo’s owner!
In France Azzaro Von Der Hoehenzoller - sired by Mojo out of Reglisse du Manoir de la Grenouillère - is continuing his winning ways with several CACIBs and one BIG at International level. Congratulations to his breeder and owner!
Also in France - from Spike’s latest litter - Keep on Running Blue Bayou, Keep On Running Blue Candy Sweet and Keep on Running Bloody Mary are proving their best in the coursing fields, all are Coursing CC Winners! Candy is also a Show CC winner ! Congratulations to Corinne Renaud and to Elisabeth Le Samedi! The dam of this litter is Jacky’s Smiling Tweety (herself sired by the English import, Hillsdown Highlander).
Several litters have been sired by some of our dogs so we are keeping fingers crossed!!!
From Polish kennels Lazarus some very nice puppies were born sired by Mojo out of the Multi Ch. Osaka Lazarus. In the Netherlands Vinny (T. Very Close to Heaven) sired a nice litter out of a Mojo daughter at kennels Of The Mine Valley. “Jazz” -Taraly Black Mamba- sired his 1st litter in Sweden while his litter sister “Luna” - Taraly Black Pearl - whelped a litter of 10 sired by Vinny’s litter brother “Piou” - Taraly Vintage Heaven.
We wish all concerned the best of luck!!!

CACIB winners

As you might all have noticed it’s been a VERY long time with no updates here…
We have had major Internet troubles for several months but now everything is fixed.
Another reason is that due to working commitments I have had only very few moments for our whippet activities unfortunatly. Since December 2007 we have attended only two shows: one in December and one in January happily with nice results :).
So now there are 3 CACIB winners from our B litter (Mojo X Spicy)!!!
In December in Alençon (F) our own “Tamiyah”, Taraly Bohemian Rhapsody, became CAC CACIB and BOS from the Intermediate class for Sighthound Specialist Marie Martine Lombard. BOB went to a Mojo son from the very first litter sired by Mojo. Tamiyah’s cousin “Hacker” (Taraly Virtual Heaven) was RCAC RCACIB winner.
We also had a great time at Paris Dog Show where “Lola”, Taraly Black is Beautiful, became Breed Specialist Georges Kostopoulos’ (Greece) CAC CACIB and BOS winner! This was Lola’s first outing in an adult class and it was in open class. At the same show Intermediate Class was won by litter sister Tamiyah. In this class 4 bitches were entered but really all quality bitches (at least in my opinion) as all could be potential CACIB winners. In dogs CAC and RCACIB went to “Vinny” Taraly Very Close to Heaven.
So with Tamiyah, Lola and earlier “Spirit”, Taraly Back In Black we are very happy with the results of our B-babies for only fery few outings.
Also we are proud to report that from Finland another litter sister “Mona” Taraly Black Panther, owned by Anna Silmari, has won 2 CCs (in Estonia and Russia). We keep fingers crossed for both Mona and Anna!
